Privacy policy
Summary
FluffSift processes supported LinkedIn post text and formatting locally in your browser to flag generic, low-value professional-network writing. The public extension does not send post text, browsing data, or analytics to FluffSift servers.
Information handled locally
To provide its features, FluffSift handles the text and formatting of posts visible on supported LinkedIn pages. It also stores your extension settings and per-post choices, such as “Looks human” or “Hide this one,” in Chrome’s local extension storage. These choices may include a post identifier so the extension can remember your decision for that post.
No automatic transmission
The public version of FluffSift has no account system, analytics service, advertising service, or FluffSift server that receives your LinkedIn post text or browsing activity. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Your controls
You can disable FluffSift at any time, change its settings, remove it from Chrome, or clear its local data through Chrome’s extension controls. Removing or clearing the extension’s local data removes the settings and per-post choices stored by the extension.
Support messages
If you email support, we use the information you voluntarily include in your message only to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive personal information or private LinkedIn content unless it is necessary for your support request.
